The Strangest Thing I Have Ever Eaten

I have eaten three strange things, such as, fried bee, smoking pig’s ear and barbecue venison. Do you think those are strange or not? Indeed, I like the both of fried bee and smoking pig’s ear, but I don’t like barbecue venison.

The first time I saw the fried bee in front of me, I am so scared of that. However, I looked all the people continue to eat them and when they eat, they sound like “gats-gats”.How I could describe that kind of feeling. For me, I think that bee sting people and they fly.How chefs collect them and put them in the pot. My mother told me that closing me eye and she put it into my mouth. After I chew it, I love fried bee. How the marvelous feeling it is for me and it tasted like crisp.

Next one is smoking pig’s ear and I like it very much. It smells good and chewy. Smoking one is the best if cooking for another way is not good. You may think it is so queer, but don’t think about that. Just try it and you will love it. Don’t think that is pig’s ear because chef has already sliced.

Last but not least is the barbecue venison. When I ate dinner at the restaurant, I ate it unconsciously. I was really hungry at that time and I eat a lot with rice. After I feel full, I ask my friends, “What is it?” They said it is mutton. However, when the waiter come and he asked that do you need more venison? I was stunned = = How terrible I am! I ate venison, while I can’t believe.

To sum up, these food that I mentioned are the strangest that I have eat in my live. If you have a chance to visit my country Taiwan, you can try it. You won’t forget the experience.

Changing My Physical Appearance

My ears and body are the most part I want to change. My ears obviously are too small, and lacks proportion if compare it to me head.

I was told to by my mother. At first, I’ve never care about this part, one day, my mom pushed my hair aside slowly, and she was surprised and said “Why your ears so small?” “I don’t know, that is you give me.” After that, I try to hide them by my hair. Actually, there is a tradition in my country, a pair of thick earlobe stands for lucky and good fortune. That is why I want to have a thick earlobes and bigger ears.

Second, my body means my figure. I think I’m too thin, and I want to gain more weight because I think it may make me looks better. I tried, but it always just get one or two kilo. I have no idea why I’m so thin, my mom, my dad, and my brother all of them are fat. Everyone see all of my family always said “why your daughter so thin.”

I have no way to change them. Now, I’m getting used to them, they are part of me. Someone said my small ears is cute, and I can hide them easily. And, my weight, I will try to get more in the future.

Woman and Lion

The soldier confuses about the nodding of princess, he thinks that she tells him to choose right. In fact, the nodding means that do not choose both of doors. In princess’s mind, no matter which door the soldier choose, it is a misery to her. If he chooses each of one doors, the result not only he was eaten by lion, but also he will married the other beautiful woman.

At the end, the princess decides to sacrifice herself, so she opens the right door. Lion eat her and the soldier can’t accept that her lover was eaten by lion. He suicides at the end.

What Would I Uninvent?

If I could uninvent one thing in the world, I would choose a computer. There are some reasons as below. First, I am addicted to computer seriously; I can’t live without it in my life. When I go back home, the first thing to do is that turning on my laptop. Even though the dinner time, I always sit in front of computer. Second, I can’t concentrate on my studying if the computer exists. It is a magnet for me, I can’t ignore its existence. When I do the homework or study book, I often chat with my friends or check my email. I can’t focus on my work so that I haven’t pass TOEFL so far. Third, how the terrible things is that online shopping. It is convenient, free shipping and use coupon. How wonderful things they are. Not only could I buy the cheapest stuff, but also it will deliver to your home. Oh my god, it let me to spent lots of money. To sum up, the computer is the terrible investment, it let many people to rely on it.

Funny and Embarrassing Experiences

Three years ago, I graduated from five-year junior college and entered two-year colleges. I felt so exited about my new school, my new friend, and my new school life.

The day of orientation, all classmates gathered in a classroom. My teacher said that we need a class leader and have to pick up one of us to be the leader. At that time, nobody volunteered, so teacher decided to choose a leader by casting lots.

I sat in the most front of classroom and I was the first person from left to right, so I casted lots first. I picked up a slip of paper in these forty lots and handed it over my teacher. I saw it is blank when teacher opened it, so I went back to my seat. Suddenly, my teacher declared I am the leader of this class. I felt confused because the lots is blank, but why I am the leader. Then, my teacher showed my lots to my classmate, I just realized that the word "leader" was written on the corner of the slip of paper. All classmates burst out laughing because I’m the first person to cast lots and to be the leader.

My name is Wynne and I come from southen part of Taiwan. I graduated from university six monthes ago. Afer that, I come to California for studying master degree. However, I haven't passed the TOEFL that's why I study in ALP. I'm not new student and I am a returning student. In california, I live with my roommate in Aneheim. She is Taiwanese and she is really nice. She cooked for me and accompanies with me for memorizing vocabulary almost every day. However, She likes my sister and free tutor.

My major is the Applied Foreign Language, so it is hard for me to find the major for master degree. I don't have any buissness or computer background; therefore, many people tell me that I can choose TESOL for major. I've searched on the CSUF website and I find out that there are no my interested graduate problem in CSUF. After I pass TOFEL, I will transfer to anthor school for my master degree. However, what I have to do now is that I hope that I could pass the PBT TEST as soon as I can and then apply for the master's degree.

My hobby is photographing everything in my daily life because I want to record any wonderful things my life. Those photos could let me recall memories in the future. In my free time, I like to chat with my friends online because I can't meet them now.
